Wintertime, when the fishin’s easy
Fishing dog...Itchy, a Rottweiler-Golden Retriever mix, joined her owner, Aaron Vaniman of Bellevue, and buddy Pat Myers of Challis in a steelhead fishing trip along the Salmon River at Pennal Gulch Sunday. She kept an eye on the spare poles and chased sticks for the photographer while her human companions fished. Vaniman caught a hatchery-raised steelhead on Saturday and Myers caught and released a wild one on Sunday. Todd Adams photo
