An Idaho Falls woman was arrested and is facing sentencing in July after selling over 200 fentanyl pills on three different occasions in 2023.
Teyawnna Maria Littlebull, 29, pleaded guilty to three felony charges of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl. A grand jury indicted her on Nov. 28.
Through a plea agreement, Littlebull agreed to plead guilty in exchange for dropping the two of the felony possession charges.
The single charge carries the potential punishment of up to 20 years in prison with 3 years of supervised release.
According to the plea agreement, Littlebull, on Feb. 27, 2023, sold “Dirty 30s” to a confidential informant. During this purchase, Littlebull sold 99 pills that contained fentanyl for $980. This occurred at a convenience store on 1st Street.
On March 23, 2023, Littlebull sold 50 pills to a confidential informant for $450. This also happened at the same location. On May 1, 2023, Littlebull and another person sold 80 pills to a confidential informant for $800 at a location on Lindsay Boulevard.
According to a press release from U.S. Attorney Josh Hurwit, Idaho State Police, Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, Idaho State Police and Homeland Security were investigating Littlebull.
Littlebull is scheduled to be sentenced on July 10 at the federal courthouse in Pocatello. Chief District Judge David C. Nye has been overseeing the case.
